Girls night at ET!!
Britanie Lopez and Chelsey Nunes of Team Jesus Racing both had an awesome night of showing the guys the fast way around the track at ET Motopark. This was the 1st race of part 2 of the 2005 Arizona Championship Open Invitational. Britanie Lopez, on the #4 Suzuki, won the overall in the 125 Beginner class, with a field of 23 riders. Chelsey Nunes also had an awesome race finishing 2nd place in the 80 Beginner class in a field of 16 riders. Great job girls!!! I am sure God was smiling down on you, watching you ride with all your heart bringing glory to Him.
Team Jesus was also at Verde Valley Motoplex, for the AMX “Beat the Heat” series. Another Team Jesus girl was out there chasing all the boys; Carrie Anne Killebrew had a good ride in the 50 Beginner B class. Carrie Anne’s dad, Kyle Killebrew showed up just in time to school everyone in the Vet Pro class. But, that was not enough for Kyle, he ended up rolling up to the gate for the second moto of the 125 Pro class, on a borrowed bike, and Kyle road hard for second behind Ryan Wilson. Ryan Mortensen of Team Jesus finished 3rd in both motos of the 125 Pro class.
